Can't Find What You Are Looking For ??
If you are pretty sure what you are looking for is within 3M Industrial Business and allied fields but you can't find it on our site, it can be a frustrating experience. We are working everyday to keep our site contents as current as possible so there may be a few possible scenarios why you can't find the 3M products you are looking for...
1. The product has been discontinued by 3M.
It is true. 3M is a very dynamic company and it is constantly deleting obsolete products and adding new ones. We used to keep the discontinued products in a special category but with an annual deletion level of around 15,000 SKUs, our database simply got too large to maintain so we deleted them from our database as well. Please give us a call. We can make sure whether the product you are looking for is really deleted or not.
2. The product has been discontinued but replacement exists.
Sometimes, 3M deletes a product and create a new product that is exactly identical to the old one. Every time this happens 3M may keep the original UPC code but will always create a new 3M Stocking ID Number (11 digits). There are many reasons why this happens but a common reason is when 3M changes product packaging. For example, 3M may change a particular product from 12 units a case to 6 units a case or vice versa. These type of changes will cause the old numbers to be obsolete but we can help you locate them.
3. The product is a made-to-order product.
Many 3M products can be made to specification. Sometimes 3M will change a stock product into a "generic" made-to-order item. Therefore, not being able to find it doesn't mean it ceased to exist. Simply give us a call and we help customers on daily basis to address their custom 3M product needs.
4. This product is a restricted 3M product.
Sometimes products may be restricted by a particular 3M division that can not be ordered through normal channels. Give us a call and we can help you determine if that product can be ordered for you.
